Wow…amazing article David! I really like seeing different perspectives on how AI can be used, and for some of these I thought: “wow, I didn’t even think about it like that”

Kudos!

Thanks llia. Really appreciate the kind works. I trying to learn something each week. I listen to far too many podcasts. And then try some things here and there.

Let me how they work out for you!

Running Granola on every client call changed how I think about follow-ups. Not because the summaries are great out of the box, but because editing them forces you to decide what actually mattered. There's usually one thing in a call that determines whether a deal moves. The AI summary rarely knows what it is. You do.

Love that Christopher. That’s a great point and great add here. It is good to review the transcripts yourself because AI might miss something.

With Granola can you take notes as well as the transcript? I like doing that in Notion as well. If something really stands out to me I can either vocally acknowledge it or add a note in Notion.

Thanks for joining the conversation.

I’ll admit, I’m probably not the world’s greatest salesperson.

But I can’t think of a single pitch I’ve won because AI wrote the clever version for me.

The useful stuff has usually come from actually understanding what the person cares about, then saying something human enough that they believe you.

granola is my 80/20

Oh nice. I was recently looking at granola and also a couple of physical devices (plaud and Pocket). I like the idea of being able to record phone calls, which I can do with the physical devices. How does granola do for in person meetings?

'AI drafts. Humans decide.' Well said.

Thanks Hodman. AI is here to stay in some form or fashion, but we can still keep the human connection. AI can handle the busy work. 😃
